Motherlode Beer & Music Festival

COVID 19 really changed everything this year. Events like this take so much planning and work and we simply do not know when in 2020 large scale events will be allowed again, so we decided to reschedule the Motherlode Beer and Music Festival to July 23-25, 2021! Yes we even added a day because we feel we need to make up for 2020!! Spread the word and keep following this page to stay informed on the updates and progress! Looking forward to lots of music, lots of beer and lots of fun in 2021.

To kick off the list of breweries attending the Motherlode Beer and Music Festival is none other than our own Outbreak Brewing Co, who will be Bringing The Cure to all the beer and music lovers! They will also be a part of a special El Dorado Brewery exhibit that is super top secret right now, but we cannot wait to announce what it will be! Stay tuned! Here is a great explanation of why there is not a brewfest in downtown Placerville this year. You cannot deny the charm of Main Street and we are happy our sister event Oktoberfest, is still being held downtown, but the Placerville Fair Grounds offers so much more space and of course PARKING for all of our attendees! It also allows for an expanded music line up with a bigger stage and helps keep traffic away from downtown during busy weekends! Stay tuned for some great news,... and PLEASE SHARE this page! UPDATE: So as not to imply the City Council denied the Beerfest, to be clear, no city entity or organization applied for a permit to close the street for the Brewfest so there was never a vote on Brewfest. The same organizer as the Motherlode Beer and Music Festival, Kilt & Cork in conjunction with the Placerville Downtown Association, did apply for a permit to close Main Street for Oktoberfest, and that was approved!
