It is with a heavy heart that we must announce that due to Amador County being in the Purple Tier, the Burns Supper, which was scheduled for January 9th, has been postponed until the April May timeframe. We will have a Burns Supper, just not in January. Those who have made reservations and paid for those reservations, you will receive your check in the mail.

It has been a difficult decision, but Mother Lode Scots has had to cancel the Scots Candlelight Christmas Walk through Volcano. Without the use of the armory we felt it necessary to cancel all festivities. The Walk has been postponed to December 4, 2021

The virtual whisky tasting was wonderful, all seemed to enjoy it and there were things learned about the various whiskies. Most of the whiskies discussed could be found easily at the various liquor stores. A couple of them could only be purchased from the distrillery itself. All in all a very nice evening spent with a common interest
