As i shared in a recent post that I was going through immigration and waiting for my social security number... Well it happened, it finally happened! I have employment authorization and a social security number!! This market was so important for me, because it marked the end of a three year wait and the beginning of something wonderful! ... I was excited to watch the Dodgers back in action last night! Great win last night. I'm sure it was weird for them playing without fans cheering them on... My first experience of racism was when I was 9 years old and I had just moved, with my family from Nigeria to the UK. I went to boarding school in Dorset and 2 Chinese boys felt I was trash and wouldn't ever want to be near me so anytime we would pass in the hallways, they would squeeze themselves along the other side of the hallway as they passed me.... Through my years I have always been aware of racism and have felt it in my work, friendships, intimate relationships, trave...lling etc etc!!
