Dear Pacific colleagues and Morris Chapel friends, couples, and families, I am writing to share that my last day of work at Pacific will be March 13. It has been almost a year since I have been in the office. I have missed you all!... To my clients: I have thought of you all every day. I have missed your smiles, your love stories, and journeying with you as you plan your special life events. Serving as the Wedding & Events Coordinator for the past 17+ years has been a blessing. I cherish all of the memories, from the largest weddings to the smallest of ceremonies. I smile recalling the conversations of laughter, and sometimes tears, in my office as we talked through what is important to you. You all made this job not work but truly a calling and a place I loved coming to each morning. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your life story. To my colleagues and business partners: I am grateful for all of times we collaborated. I have learned from and with you. In my early days at Pacific, you all quickly became like a family to me. I can’t believe it has been 16 years But my goodness, they’ve been 16 great years. I would thank you all one by one if I could... but there isn’t enough space for that. Instead, know that each time we met or spoke, was an important drop in the bucket of memories. Now, that bucket of memories is so large, it’s like the ocean. It’s vast and beautiful. Thank you, thank you, thank you. This is a bitter sweet message to write I will miss you all greatly, but I know it is what must take place so I can continue recovering and recuperating. My battle with cancer continues but as my friends and family say, I am one hellava fighter! I will continue to fight, pray, and love hard. Thank you for your support, prayers, and notes. I look forward to camping more, traveling to see my daughter in North Carolina, and riding motorcycles! I’ll be sure to post photos please keep touch ([email protected]).
