Yesterday's vote of the Electoral College Electors was, of course, a significant moment in the new Biden administration moving forward to inauguration on January 20, 2021. It happened to coincide with the first U.S. citizens receiving the Pfizer vaccine to immunize people from getting Covid-19. This morning, Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell announced the inevitable fact that Biden is the President-Elect. This was not a close election, and there has never be...en demonstrated any voter fraud that would have changed the outcome of the vote in any state. All we heard was Trump and his sycophants repeating the lie over and over that there was "widespread voter fraud" and the election was "stolen" from Trump. In the 30's in Germany, Joseph Goebbels came up with the approach that if you repeated the same lies over and over again, the public would come to believe it. The Trump administration has done the same thing for the last four years. The only ones that this election was almost stolen from was over 81 million American Voters who voted for the Biden-Harris ticket.

Amy Coney Barrett, nominee was asked if obstruction of a person's right to vote was a crime (it is). She said she would have to hear oral argument, consult with her law clerks, and speak with her colleagues on the court before she could answer that question. One wonders if she would have been able to tell us whether Grand Auto Theft was a crime, or would she have to hear oral argument, consult with her law clerks and speak with her colleagues on the court?

I almost cannot imagine anything more despicable than intentionally interfering with American's ability to vote so as not to risk exposure to Covid 19. There is no evidence that voting by mail is subject to any significant fraud -- in fact studies show the opposite. The only inaction I can think of that is more despicable is not confronting VladImir Putin about the fact that Russia has put a bounty on killing American troops in Afghanistan when having 8 or more telephone con...versations with him in the last few months. If you are going to vote by mail, DO IT EARLY!

Black lives are entitled to the same rights as white lives! I deplore the treatment young black men have received in this country for decades -- too many deaths for stops that were just misdemeanors or even a warning to young white men! We live in too great of a country for any of our citizens to be treated this way, and young black men are probably U.S. citizens 99% of the time. Racism is not a joke! It should not be tolerated!
