Outdoor haircuts ?!!!! Seriously????? What’s the point of getting a barbers license with 1600 hrs of health and safety minimum, and spending years perfecting our craft? I’m sure you’ll be satisfied in the parking lot with no mirrors, no plumbing. How can we maintain hygienic standards when we don’t have a sink to wash our hands next to us, running water next to us, our stations with our disinfectant and cleaning solutions? The board of barbering allowed this??? Are there any retired or active barbers still on the board??? Oh right ..... We can bring our tools outside to get blown around in the wind and work with our clippers connected to extension cords in the parking lot. Hahaha! That sounds really safe.... For our barbers health (mental and otherwise) we are closed temporarily- our sincerest apologies.

Thanks to our regulars.We appreciate your support through all of this. We will let you know as soon as the city/county of Santa Cruz allows us to reopen. We realize that barbering has been allowed to open in the majority of counties in California. We, however are not one of those counties yet. We will keep you posted .

We have been closed for business since March 15, due to the county/city mandate which I’m sure you are all aware of...... we plan on re-opening as soon as the stay at home order is lifted, whenever that will be.
