Today is National Kindergarten Day. Did you know that Kindergarten was one of the first advocacy efforts of the PTA? At the first National Congress of Mothers... Convocation in 1897, public kindergarten classes and the establishment of daycare centers were two key topics. PTA members continued to focus their advocacy on early childhood education and kindergarten throughout the 20th century. Get excited because the Montevideo Dance-A-Thon event is happening TODAY! Students will be dancing for 35 minutes, helping their school, and having a blast! Some students will be dancing in class, and we have a live Zoom Family Dance Party at 5pm tonight! Look for the link in your email from Mrs Graham! That’s a wrap on Sports City Now! The students absolutely LOVED this character theme. They got to learn the character lessons TEAMWORK, CARE, COURAGE, GRIT, & CELEBRATION from kids just like them. Ask your student which sport they liked best and what they learned.
