Congratulations to the winning alliance for today's extremely exciting Inter league First Tech Challenge, shaping our future is a responsibility. I Couldn't be more proud of this program. Gracious Professionalism was abounds. Thank you too all volunteer judges, parents, alumni, mentors and supporters who came out to make this a special event! I am so very proud of All of the kids and teams who competed ! Suit Bots, Kings and Queens and Golden Gears took the win today! Can't wait to see the next competition and the next alliance. ALL these kids are incredible wow this was so much fun too !

I wanted to share how the Monrovia Robotics Program continues to inspire the world around us . Community outreach is a big part of what all of these teams and kids do in the community. To help promote, inspire and cultivate innovation, creativity, team work and the future . While the video I took was late, there was a line a mile long of children with wide eyes and dreams lining up to operate the Suit Bots Robot. We are so saddened for the passing of Kendrick Castillo, a member of our FIRST Robotics family. Let's share his life and great legacy despite his youth and see if we can come up with a way to stop these senseless tragedies

Hail to the Kings and Queens that won the Inspire award on Saturday! They have inspired Monroe Elementary school to start a Lego League Team which launched last week to the kids delight! What great mentors(photo credit Maritza Travanti)

Introducing your Monrovia Robotics kids with their teams: From Monrovia High School: Teams #4153 Droidnoughts, #4625 Kings and Queens, #4628 Suit Bots, #7553 Team Loki, #8624 Spectrum, and #11825 Graveyard Shift From Santa Fe Computer Science Magnet School: Teams #4947 Cougarobotics Alpha and #5498 Cougarobotics Omega... From Clifton Middle School: Teams #9512 Hippie Bots and #9513 System Overload They all performed with Gracious Professionalism. This was a 12-hour day for kids, mentors, judges, parent/alumni volunteers, and supporters. It was riveting right until the end! We are so proud of Monrovia Robotics whose teams are consistently among the leaders in League C2! Check back Tuesday when we will know which of our ten teams advance to Championships! Almost 70 volunteers worked tirelessly to run the A1C2 Interleague Tournament!!! On behalf of the FTC program, we thank each and everyone of you that helped to make this wonderful event possible!!!!
