Hey Folks! Sorry I haven't had much to say in awhile. As you probably know, I've had a busy year! A couple months ago, I got a surprise phone call from an old customer at my former art gallery, The Dreaming Room. (Yep, the old Dreaming Room phone number still works!). It was Nicolas Cage and his sons in town for a visit. Nic has long been one of The Dreaming Room's greatest supporters, so it was really great to see him again. I'm used to having Nic in my huge gallery space, ...so he seemed a bit too large to be in my little jewelry store. It was entertaining to watch a young man who kept staring as his parents shopped for jewelry. I think he was trying to figure out why "that guy" looked so familiar. Meanwhile, as people would come look in the window, Nic would deftly turn so his back was toward them. He was obviously well practiced at being invisible while in public. He was disappointed that the old gallery was gone, but, he was excited to see some of the things I still had sitting around (including the jewelry)! And the same would probably be true for any of you who is looking for something special that you won't find anywhere else.
