I want to offer my services to equestrians needing help educating their horse(s) to trailer loading. I would just like my expenses paid for the day. We can set up a clinic for your stable. Don't wait for an emergency to find out your horse WILL NOT load! PM me for details
Another great reason to stay relaxed while riding!
Having your brain trained is just as important as your skills in riding! You need both to have a happy horse. If you are too tense or your thoughts are elsewhere, no matter what your skill level is your feel timing will be misguided. Correct breathing is an important skill to help keep one calm and connected. Want more mental training.. Look up Erika Westhoff!!
Got to help a Mustang this day.
Great story about the history of the Polish Arabian Horse.
Love this diagram Ashley Schafer told us about it at a clinic I was auditing. I was able to find it and wanted to share.
"Tough times don’t last; tough people do. Remember your track record for getting through tough days is 100%! "Heather Smith 100 Horse n around things to do while we are locked up in our own stalls ;-) Starting with the the first 10 1. Learn to get in time with your horse's feet. Whether you are on the ground or mounted. When you know where their feet are it’s pretty easy to move them.... the one who moves the feet is the leader!... 2. Teach your horse to let you mount from the fence. 3. Learn to calm yourself by deep breathing. 4. Practice picking up their feet from the opposite side 5. When you pet them, pet them so softly and in such a way you can feel each individual hair in their coat 6. Watch the movie The Black Stallion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMGaIr7kCqc 7. Write a letter to the people supporting your horse passion thanking them. Maybe put in a picture of you and your horse friend! Yes, a letter.... Very thoughtful and unique for the times :-) 8. Practice visualizing your perfect ride. 9. Find your horses favorite itchy spot. 10. Improve your horse's understanding of pressure and release. Timing is EVERYTHING! Keep your ears up for more...you won't get board! See more
