Our 2020 grads from the district!

We are excited to announce that starting August 12th our youth group is going to begin phasing back into meeting in person. This is going to be a great thing for our students and leaders. We are so excited for this day. We are also aware of the seriousness of coming back together. Here are the steps we are going to be taking to help ensure the safety of our students and leaders. Upon arrival:... Be screened (including temperature check) prior to entering the building. Screening questions: o Do you have a fever? o Have you or anyone in your household had symptoms of COVID-19 in the past 14 days? o Have you or anyone in your household tested positive for COVID-19? o Have you been in contact with anyone who was ill in the past 14 days? Be sent home if they answer yes to any of the above questions. Wear a mask while on campus and maintain a 6ft social distance from others. (these spaces will be marked outdoor on the west lawn. Entrance will be through the church foyer.) If I develop any symptoms within 14 days after attending a church service, I will notify the church office immediately. We are beginning this year with a series on who God is. This will be a look at who God is and explaining his rightful place in our lives. In a time when it seems like everything is changing we begin here because God does not change. When everything is out of control what do we have to lean on? We begin the year with the truth that God is always there and worthy of being the foundation of our lives.

Our final day of camp we have explored some beautiful places with some beautiful people.

Our students are about to wake up for day 3 of camp. We have had two days of amazing adventures. Last night we looked at Romans 12:4-8 and reflected on the ways we participate and contribute to God’s church.

We finished day one of rock climbing and canyon hiking.

We have arrived and camp begins by setting up the tents!

We are leaving for summer camp this Sunday! Please pray for our students and leaders. We will not have any youth meetings on Sunday, July 19th, or Wednesday, July 22nd.
