I cannot believe it’s been 7-years since I opened Momentum. Time sure flies by when you are having fun. Each year at this time, I reflect and share thoughts from the previous year. The highlights are easy: resuming teaching after giving birth to my son, formally bringing our instructors on as employees, and continuing to grow the Momentum community. I was disappointed we couldn’t officially toast with all of you on the front lawn with an awesome party. But, yesterday, we di...d celebrate our 7-years with a 60-minute live virtual cycling class and it was so fun to sweat buckets. I have missed you all so much. Last night, I was reminded that not every ride is the best ride of your life, and that not every year is the best year of your life this helped me put everything in perspective. Live virtual classes will remain the class structure for the time being and more classes will be added soon, including Core + Strength with Denise and Strong Body with Camille. Keep an eye on our online schedule! We are ready for outdoor classes when the time is right and I look forward to our reopening! Stay strong and healthy. Here is to 7-more years of Momentum! HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY! What a year 2020 has been so far. Personally, I welcomed my son Logan and transitioned into motherhood and a new life as a young family. It's been amazing. And then COVID-19 made shelter in place and social isolation real and yet so surreal. Every single day since we closed on March 14, I have thought about the incomparable sense of community Momentum has, the commitment of our riders to their health, and to each other. I have stayed in touch with mo...st of you and, I hear you...we can’t wait to get back to normal! I think we’ve all had ups and downs and I know we are all looking forward to some real in-person face time. And some real ME time. To all of our Momentum Moms who are staying busy homeschooling, entertaining, cleaning, cooking, playing with kids, and working from home: I am thinking of you and I can’t wait to see you in person. I am aware there will be a new normal as we reopen the studio this year, and I will keep you posted on what that will look like in our next newsletter. In the meantime, I plan to teach some virtual classes a few times per week starting this Friday 5/15 at 10am. Book a virtual class using your MindBody account, and receive a Zoom invite 30 minutes before class starts. We have a handful of our bikes left to rent, please email me for more details.
