Mojave Desert Soap

A great time last night at Tower Homestead @cowboyattic. Perfect weather and music by Hunter and the Wicked. And so much great shopping. Come pick up a bar or two of soap and hang out with us!

Lemon Lime & Sweet Basil is made with lemon zest I made from a huge batch of organic Meyer Lemons given to me. I also took lime leaves from my lime tree, made a tea with fresh leaves and dried more to add into the soap for a mild scrub. Sweet basil Oil dominates the scent to create a fresh garden f...ragrance Goat Milk Citrus Turmeric starts with goat milk fresh off a local goat farm, Turmeric infused olive oil and Indigo Powder for a color contrast and benefits. I used the last of my orange and lemon zest to round it out. The result is a fresh scent with lots of good ingredients for skin. Goat Milk Lavender & Alkanet Root. Always using fresh goat milk, I can’t keep this one on the shelf. The deep purple color comes from Alkanet Root infused Olive Oil. Along with the rich benefits of Goat Milk and soothing Lavender Essential Oil, this is a pure bar of goodness. Milk Mint is a creamy bar almost good enough to eat. But don't eat it! Instead, feed your skin nourishing ingredients of organic coconut milk, and luxurious oils like Avocado Oil and Shea Butter. Rosemary and Peppermint pure essential oils treat your skin. Dandelions are hard to come by out here in the desert, but they’re here and while I’m out foraging food for my sweet tortoise, I sometimes come across dandelion. Being mindful of leaving plenty for our local bees, I was able to gather enough to infuse in olive oil and that’s what I used to start this bar off. I kept going with Dandelion Root Tea for the water portion of the soap and Dandelion Root for a mild scrub. Dandelion is so good for you in so many ways. It’s detoxifying and that can be beneficial in healing the skin. Desert Hipster- You'll feel like you're showering in the great outdoors. Fresh, clean, woodsy with a twist of patchouli. I used Juniper Berry infused Olive Oil to put this one over the top. Men will LOVE it but so will women. These will be available at Www.mojavedesertsoap.com on Monday, May 10th.
