A Modesto Transfer driver is waiting out the storm on the North Eastern Seaboard. In preparation for the storm, MTS staff coordinated with our fellow Atlas Van Lines agents to get this week’s customers loaded a week early. No amount of snow can stop Modesto Transfer and the Atlas team!

On May 3rd 2014 Gary Smith, owner of Modesto Transfer and Storage, and Dr. Mark Cook, proprietor of International Medicine Doctors, Inc. led a team of volunteers in loading and prepping a 48 foot container with scores of medical equipment and supplies bound for the Philippines. This container will end up in Calape Village in the Behold Province. Calape Village has never had a hospital, only a birthing center. The contents of this container will be used to convert the birthing... center into a completely functional hospital. With the damage done by the recent hurricanes that swept through, now more than ever the people of Calape Village, the Behold Province and the Philippines as a whole will be able to put a fully equipped, modern hospital to good use. Gary Smith had this to say about the container, As always, it is our pleasure to assist International Medicine Doctors, Inc. in their efforts to supply the medical needs of the people of the world, especially at a time when they need it most. Modesto Transfer and Storage has worked with IMD for five years, providing free storage and facility use. MTS has assisted in the load and delivery of two other containers, to Zambia and Tanzania.
