They stood out in the heat today, bar...becued and served 1,000 meals to our teams at Doctors Medical Center! We can't thank you enough for your support and generosity. David Mendonca and Duane Thompson from Ceres Lions Club visited our club tonight and gave us a presentation about the history our 27 official US flags over approximately 243 years.

Modesto Sunset Lions donated 60 nice warm, plush blankets to the nursing care unit of Casa de Modesto Retirement Center during the holidays.

Tonight we presented a donation to Richard Stone on behalf of the Central Valley Regional Science Bowl. The Modesto Sunset Lions club has supported the Science Bowl for at least the past 4 years.

Earlier this month a few of our #modestosunsetlions volunteered our time for a deserving family in Ceres to help clean up their yard and clean out their garage. This is a family of a recently young disabled Dad, wife and small son. The wife is trying to keep up with everything. She was very grateful. . . #volunteerism #givingback #lions #modesto
