Service information. Jordan Jo Nicole Reich passed away peacefully in San Francisco on August 22, 2021 after a courageous battle with leukemia. Jordan was bo...rn on February 3, 2001 in Modesto, California to David and Donna Reich. Jordan attended and graduated from Ripon High School, class of 2018 and was a proud student at Lower Columbia College in Longview, Washington. Since Jordan was a young girl, she loved animals. She showed swine for FFA during high school and was an aspiring veterinarian technician. She loved to work and keep herself busy. She was a huge Giants fan and would go watch games as much as possible and cheer on her favorite player Buster Posey. She enjoyed all music and playing the guitar; there wasn’t a song on the radio she didn’t know by heart that she would sing the entire way through. Jordan was a caretaker and always searching for ways to help others. Her smile was infectious and her spirit was irreplaceable. Above all else, Jordan loved her family and Jesus. Jordan’s unbreakable friendship with her mom and sisters, is one that will be treasured forever. Her love for her nieces and nephews was unconditional and a truly special bond that her entire family will cherish forever. Jordan had the ability to see the good in others everywhere she went, her light will be missed by her entire family and all her friends. Jordan leaves behind her parents, David and Donna Reich, her grandparents, Joe and Margaret Finazzo and Larry and Helen Reich, her siblings, Jennifer & Chris Henry and Jessica & Joel McWhirter and her nieces and nephews, Kinsley, Kyndall and Kayson Henry and Jace, Jett and Joey McWhirter along with all of her extended family. Jordan also leaves behind her faithful friend and loving companion, Paisley-Mae, her golden retriever. A celebration of life service is scheduled for September 10, 2021 @10:30am, at Crossroads Grace Community Church, 1505 Moffat Blvd., Manteca, CA. Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God.

We have COVID-19 vaccines available at our office. We have the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine for ages 12 years and up. We also have the Janssen/Johnson & Johnson vaccine for ages 18 years and up. If you are wanting to get the vaccine for your child or yourself, please call the office to schedule an appointment. This is NOT a "walk-in" clinic. You must have an appointment. Feel free to share if you know anyone that's having trouble getting their vaccine. They do not have to be a patient of Modesto Pediatrics.

We have a limited inventory of COVID-19 vaccines available at our office. Because of the fragile shelf life of the vaccine after puncturing the multi-dose vials (6 hours), we will only be scheduling appointments in the afternoon in an attempt to avoid any waste of the vaccines.

Well-Child Visits and Vaccinations Are Essential Services... A CDC report released in May 2020 found a troubling drop in routine childhood vaccinations as a result of families staying at home. While families followed public health warnings about going out, an unfortunate result was many missed routine vaccinations. CDC and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommend every child continues to receive routine vaccinations during the COVID-19 outbreak. Children need to be... protected against vaccine-preventable diseases. Well-child visits and vaccinations are essential services and help make sure children are protected. Children who are not protected by vaccines may be more likely to get diseases like measles and whooping cough. As communities are opening up, it’s important for parents to work with their children’s doctor or nurse to make sure their children stay up to date on routine vaccines.

We received a notice from our local hospitals that they are in CRITICAL NEED of blood. Apparently there is a HUGE shortage in our area & they are not able to get the amount of blood that they desperately need. If you or your family can donate blood, please consider doing so as soon as you can. Our local hospitals receive their blood from the American Red Cross Blood Bank. Thank you!

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE remember to practice good hand-washing every day....but especially during the cold and flu season!

Modesto Pediatrics 03.09.2020

Cold & Flu season is upon us! Here's a helpful link to our "Symptom Checker" (also found on our website). This is an American Academy of Pediatrics site. It is designed to answer the simple questions and provide information on homecare, when to call us or (worst case scenario) go to the ER. Remember...you can call us anytime if you feel more comfortable doing that or can't find the answers you are looking for. This is intended as a "tool" only. Not to replace actual medical care. https://www.healthychildren.org//sympto/Pages/default.aspx
