OVERWHELMED _ Another year cycled on this plant and all I can say is WOW. _ I don’t even know why I showed up to work today because I got nothing done. Mostly because people loved me all day with food, cookies, love, flowers, and great gifts. ... _ I feel purely drunk in gratitude and love. _ To be honest, I’m undeserving of the amount of love and attention I got today. For those who went out of their way to think of me on my birthday, I appreciate it although it was completely uncalled for. I looked at it as a simple Monday, while it was praised by my family, friends, clients, co-workers, associates, and every person I have crossed paths with. _ Thank you all for filling my heart with an intoxicating amount of gratitude. _ I love you. I can hear my brothers correcting my painting skills. _ There is more that comes with owning a gym than just training people. Most of us don’t need a weight loss transformation to feel good about ourselves. _ Some of us need a weightlifting program to lift our confidence. _ Some of us need a group of folks to push us i the right direction.... _ Some of us need the person to call our bluff on our bullshit excuses. _ Some of us need to get rid of that shitty person in our life who devalue our presence and time. _ Some of us need a nap. _ Some of us need to eat more vegetables or even drink more water. _ Whatever it is we need, it’s not always a weight-loss solution. Starting from the basics is always important. Am I getting enough sleep? Am I around toxic people? Am I drinking enough water? Am I eating right? Sometimes the simple changes can make some dramatic affects in the way you look at yourself. Your mental toughness is key to any weight loss success.
