Months in the making, this $13.5B settlement, which still needs to be approved by the bankruptcy court, is an important first step towards justice for our clients. There is still a lot of work to do re: allocation/distribution amongst all the individual plaintiffs, but we are making great progress! #PGEsettlement

The PG&E Bankruptcy Court has extended the Bar Date (deadline) for fire victims to file a claim against PG&E from 10/21/19 to 12/31/19 at 5:00 p.m. (PST). #TubbsFire #CampFire #NunsFire #AtlasFire #NorthBayFires #PGEBankruptcy

The creditors, including the fire victims, have "spoken loudly and clearly that they want their" proposal to be considered, Montali said in his ruling. A big win for us in this process!

This settlement does not cover the most deserving group: the fire victimsour clients. Our battle rages on... (claim filing deadline is October 21, 2019) #CampFire #NorthBayFires #PGE

We’ve maintained #PGE is responsible for the #TubbsFire. Late last week, the bankruptcy court agreed to lift the stay on pending #TubbsFire case(s) so we can try issue of PG&E’s Tubbs liability in front of an SF jury (PG&E not contesting liability on other fires). Trial(s) will occur in 2019.

While we've always maintained that #PGE was legally responsible for the #TubbsFire for failing to cut power on the extremely windy night of 10/8/17, this newly discovered video may cause CalFire to reconsider its findings about the role PG&E's equipment played in causing the Tubbs Fire... Regardless, we continue to represent Tubbs Fire victims, as well as all other Wine Country Fire and Camp Fire victims. Deadline for filing claims is October 21, 2019.
