Meeting Samuel was very touching for me because of his story. As a parent watches his child to go through almost the same way that had happen to Samuel due to ...poliovirus it sadden me. Sometimes I still wonder if the seizure (six months, two years old, & four years old) due to high fever causes my son loses his leg. Those are the questions that goes through parents mind when their child is in pain. Samuel had a mentor that believe in him to "Empower" him. For that he became self-sufficient. He followed his dream to "empower" himself and others. (http://champsheart.com/project-nigeria/) Samuel was born in a remote village called Kpor in the southern part of Nigeria. His earliest and most frightening memory is of the day that his uncle brought him to the orphanage. He told the matron he had no family and then, in turn, told his mother that he had died on the way. He was four years old at the time and did not know why his mother did not want him anymore. Maybe it was because he was different, crippled with polio and unable to walk. Samuel was beaten in the orphanage.

It’s #Friday, learning new things and growing to be better everyday will lead to success. Be willing to go against the grain! Own the day and make it count. Obey the principles without being bound by them. The fundamentals of sport or art must be cemented before success can be attained. But when the athlete has reached proficiency in these basics, he/she can then stray from them to add an air of unpredictability to his/her game, while fully understanding the risks involved....
