Since my daughter was born a little over a year ago, I have taken a step back from my cake business to spend all my free time with my family outside of my regular full time job. But of course I wouldn’t dare miss the opportunity to go all out for my daughter’s first birthday party now, would I?! After working on her party, I realized how much I miss caking - the creative outlet that it is for me. There is a balance in things and I’ve decided to take a few projects here and there without stretching myself too thin.
