Challenge yourself to our Golden Gate Park 150th Anniversary YBike Scavenger Hunt! Revisit some landmarks or discover some new ones in the park! If you don’t r...ecognize any of the places, do a little online research. Your goal is to ride to all the locations to take a photo with each landmark. Upload your pictures to your IG story, tag us @ybikesf and we’ll repost your adventure! This #scavengerhunt should be approximately 9 miles to complete. If you want to share with us your time, in addition to photos of your journey, discount any non-riding time and the time to return to your starting location. We are grateful for her support and acknowl...edgement of the impact our staff makes within communities. Our dedication to serve families, seniors, and the youth of the Bay Area is no match for all the trails of 2020. With her support we will continue our mission to provide equitable, sustainable and enriching programs for our neighbors, our communities, our people. As we bear witness to the lives lost and pain inflicted by COVID-19, racism, and scapegoating of migrants, we must embrace a vision of welcoming and belonging, and embody this vision through our direct actions, to co-create a more equitable society for all. One way we can do this is through supporting our community members understand their voting rights and the importance of voting for leaders who represent them. Join us at this event.
#excelsiorstrong #latinotaskforce #oneurban #unidossisepuede #welcomingweek #latinotaskforce #missionfoodhub #ymcasf During Welcome Week we want to thank and highlight our Y staff who are in District 11 providing essential services like COVID-19 testing and food. This is a community effort to ensure our monolingual families get access to the resources they need. Our staff have seen how COVID-19 has effected the latin(x/o) population over the past few months, and want to spread the word to our Spanish speaking neighbors, family, and friends. We are here for you too! Testing is at Crocker Park 799 Moscow on Mondays, and food distribution is on Wednesdays. #BetterTogether

Welcoming Week is almost here! From September 12-20 we invite our Y communities to celebrate and share the power of inclusion for our immigrant community members. Welcoming Week promotes cross-cultural understanding and community cohesion by bringing together immigrants and U.S.-born residents in the spirit of unity, and highlighting the work we do year-round alongside our immigrant populations. This year will be different, but we are still fully committed to embracing our ne...wcomer immigrant friends, and offering opportunities for unity. Join us! On September 4th we disrupt our usual workday to PAUSE; offering all our staff the day to reflect on social injustice, health pandemic, economic unrest, and natural disasters we have felt collectively and independently. This upcoming Day of Pause is a space for staff to use their voice to initiate conversations internally and externally on their well being and the change we wish to see throughout our organization, within our communities, and throughout the nation. Colleagues, we encourage you to share what makes you appreciate this day with these images below to begin that dialogue. Like and share why you support our Day of Pause!
