College Connect is Accepting Applications We are a Mission Graduates program serving students who... will be among the first in their families to obtain and complete a college education. More information about College Connect: https://www.missiongraduates.org/programs/collegeconnect/ Deadline to apply is Friday, October 16th at 11:59pm Who is eligible to apply? First-generation student with the desire to obtain & complete a four-year college education. (First-generation: You or your siblings will be the first in your immediate family to attend college.) Cannot be part of another college access program Current high school juniors (regardless of immigration status) On track to complete high school A-G requirements + has a 2.5 GPA (flexible) or above Live in or attend school in the Mission or Excelsior Districts Families with financial need Supports include: Bi-weekly workshops for students (Covering topics ranging from the college process to self-care) Monthly meetings for parents (Covering topics ranging from the college process to self-care) Individual Writing Partner (Support for Personal Statements, Scholarships, etc.) Individual Math Tutor College Research Coach (Helps build a college list prior to senior year) So Cal College Tour during Spring Break junior year College support for each year and a Career Linkage Program (After college) Please email Jorge Garcia at [email protected] if you have any questions.
