Today, in honor of WORLD FOOD DAY, we want to give a huge shout out to our friends at O’side Kitchen Collaborative, a local and sustainable organization that is doing AMAZING things for our community! @osidekitchencollaborative supports zero waste efforts by partnering with local farms and food businesses, and rescuing fresh produce to nourish and educate our citizens. Ever since the COVID-19 outbreak in March, OKC shifted their focus to help feed people in need. To this date... they have served 278 THOUSAND meals to those affected by the pandemic. Additionally, in collaboration with the @cityoceanside, and their sister non-profit @feedingthesoulfoundation, OKC has provided financial relief to local restaurants buying their surplus ingredients, and they’ve employed laid off food staff to help with their new program.
