Update from Buea, Cameroon Initial stage of our first hybrid program concluded this week. The Allied Africa team, organized 15 young adults who attended four 3-hr weekly sessions in-person. The in-person group virtually joined another 15 participants from Canada, USA, Tanzania, Nigeria, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Uganda, India, South Africa, and Namibia. The group included a 12-yr-old who attended individually and a family of 3 with a 9-yr-old. Our deepest appreciation to everyone who... helped make this a success. We are very excited about this accomplishment. The Allied Africa team is already planning to organize the next group of cohorts for a two full day training in June. They also feel comfortable enough to conduct the program on their own with some support from us. They are also working on potentially establishing the program in their university and secondary schools in the fall. See more
