Hi friends. It's been a rough week. Here's an article to help you talk about and digest the toughness w/ young ones in your life: We appreciate mindfulness as a practice of waking up to really see, especially the tough stuff. It is times like these when it's helpful to pool resources and call on community for guidance. Feel free to reach out if you have specific questions - we'd love to help any way we can. ... https://www.npr.org//how-to-talk-with-kids-about-terrible-

Erik and I had an incredible experience today leading almost 30 people through some of our mindful games. Only 12 people pre-signed up. Our PowerPoint technology failed. And yet we got to guide our Play, Presence and Pitfalls workshop to a phenomenal group who asked great questions and really showed up. So grateful to get to be doing this work! To build stronger connection and deeper awakeness with ourselves , our teams, and our world. #letusAwaken #playatwork #bridgingheartsandminds #mindfulness

Wellbeing, an active, awake, vibrant state of open attention, flourishes from the inside out. We can't chase it and we can't buy it. What we can do: develop a silent stillness practice. "If you meditate, it turns out this strengthens the circuits in your brain that help you react less, be triggered less, and recover more quickly, which is what we call resilience. Even at the beginning people get a better sense of of what they truly want and better ability to focus. Instead ...of being compelled by what is maybe seductively presented to them, they have more control of their attention." http://www.6seconds.org//daniel-goleman-emotions-wellbein/
