Mill Valley Police Department 14.01.2021

Due to a recent increase in reported package thefts in Mill Valley and our surrounding areas, we wanted to take a moment to repost this tip from last years holiday season. We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season! 1) Track your packages online. Schedule shipments to arrive at a time you will be home. 2) For expensive items, consider requesting a signature upon delivery. 3) Consider shipping to UPS store or Amazon locker. 4) Customize your delivery preferences to include instructions to leave items out of sight. The main goal is to reduce access and visibility to packages! #happyholidays #merrychristmas #crimetips

Beginning Friday, November 27, 2020 to Thursday, December 31, 2020, parking meter fees will be temporarily waived to encourage patronage with local businesses. Residents and visitors will be able to park for free downtown in metered parking spots up to the maximum time allotment which is noted on the parking meters. Parking enforcement officers will continue to enforce time restrictions and other parking violations during this time, with the exception of expired meters. Happy Holidays from all of us at the Mill Valley Police Department!
