Just a quick message to let you know that one of Amazon's lead book reviewers is going to review Cornfield Soldiers in the next few months. That's exciting!
December 7th is fast approaching. Summer Storm deals with the Japanese attack in the final chapters of the book. Summer Storm is a good, old fashioned spy novel that takes place during the opening days of World War II, both in Iowa and in the back streets of Berlin. This is what Gerda Weismann Klein (Academy Award Winner, Best Documentary, Short - One Survivor Remembers) said about this novel: In Summer Storm, Paul Michael Frazee has set himself the daunting task of giving u ...a panoramic view of the events leading up to World War II ... Its thrilling action, its surprise twists and turns of the plot are meticulously researched...Through the motivations of its main characters, we encounter compassionate depictions of various aspects of love, and their corollary, hatred and violence, made plausible by the urgency of stemming the Nazis' intolerable and senseless acts of barbarism. In the course of these sweeping events, which are charged with the high drama dictated by those crucial times, we encounter many prominent personalities of that tense era of the thirties and forties. More than that, the story is skillfully brought down to the level of individuals who lived through these feining moments of the Twentieth Century. Its spine-tingly tales of intrigue, of espionage and counter-espionage make this a must read." You can visit Paul Michael Frazee's website at www.militarynovels.info.
Going to be at the State Fair tomorrow - Sunday 14 July from 1 pm to closing (10pm). I will have copies of Sweet Tea and Sweet Jesus for sale for the first time! Yahoo!
Yesterday I gave final approval to PDF's on Sweet Tea and Sweet Jesus. While there are still some mistakes (lacking some punctuation, one quotation when where should be two) the point is that if I am to have copies at the state fair in July, yesterday was the last day possible. All-in-all, for a first attempt at self-publishing, I'm giving it 4 and 1/2 stars out of 5. Any ideas for my first book signing on new book?
