Out of the thousands of people that I have had come in and out of my boat over the last two decades. There was one single person I looked forward to seeing every year. More then any other person this one special human touched my heart. He was a annual reminder of why I started guiding! A constant reminder of how a fishing guide can touch and changed lives. How much joy can be brought to a individual through memories made while fishing. My heart is crushed today knowing myself Ryan Tripp and Captain John Mcgee have already shared our last day together and made our last memories with this amazing person. We knew him as Mathew! Today he is gone! RIP my dear friend. You will never be forgotten buddy....my prayers are with his family during such a tragic time..
