Yosemite Valley

November 12 day trip to Yosemite

Just a couple of weeks ago I took a group on a photo tour of Point Reyes and Bodega Bay. It's always a good trip. Bodega Bay is where Hitchcock filmed The Birds. The famous schoolhouse that appeared several times in the film is still there and preserved as a state historical site. Funny thing is . . . right next door to the schoolhouse is the famous church that Ansel Adams shot in 1933 that he called "Church and Road". The files that are attached starting with AA is Ansel Adams image of the church and starting with EW is Edward Westin's shot atop Chimney Rock showing the Pacific Ocean on the left and Drake's Bay on the right. The others are mine and start with MT. You can compare my church of Oct. 2019 with Ansel's and my Chimney Rock with Westin's. New and pro photographer's just love this stuff.
