So here is a new edition of #NoEnclave, in which I explore Los Angeles's #CubanAmerican community -- which, although hardly high profile, is the fourth largest in the nation!

What is with those Los Angeles suburbs that have a single, monolithic "skyscraper" looming over them like Orthanc over the plains of Isengard? When did they build them? Why didn't they build more? No answers to those questions but here's a directory with some history.
