New for 2021: Advance Child Tax Credits will begin being processed by the IRS starting July 15th and will be paid monthly on the 15th until the end of the year. Payments will vary depending on the age of your children ($250-300/month). The IRS is expected to open a portal for anyone who would prefer to opt-out and instead receive the full credit with their 2021 tax return.... If you receive these advanced payments, be sure to keep track of them for tax time. Applications opened May 3rd through the Small Business Administration. For the first 3 weeks, only applications from restaurants and other eligible businesses that are majority-owned by women, veterans and socially and economically disadvantaged applicants will be processed and paid out. Recipients are not required to repay the grants as long as funds are used no later than March 11, 2023 for eligible uses.... The RRF grants, up to a maximum of $10 million, are aimed at replacing lost, pandemic-related revenue for eligible applicants for up to 20 locations. Businesses with more than one restaurant can get up to $5 million per location, but each applicant is limited to a total of $10 million in funds.
