My talent & passion is as a Hair Colorist. It’s in my blood, I have 20 years experience as a licensed Cosmetologist, but over 30+ years assisting my mom and mentor behind the chair. I am highly trained in techniques such as Balayage, Seamless color melts,Ombre,Sombre, Baby-lights, Highlights Etc. This is my Passion. My second is updo and makeup, I specialize in vintage looks. I truly enjoy using my knowledge to create exactly what my clients are envisioning when they sit do...wn in my chair. While most professional Colorist/Stylist on my level charge more I maintain quality and affordability for all women. I look forward in working together in creating beautiful hair.pamper yourself you deserve it I fix hair gone wrong...... Cristela (Crystal)

Pandemic had Ms Sonnia wanting to go dark for a minute... Soon realized she’s born to be blonde!... Her hair was lightened using a combination of techniques. From teasy balayage to babylights to face framing money piece! Our goal for this service was a low maintenance, lived in look. So no base change was necessary, we wanted a footy effect. As always our number priority is to protect the integrity of the hair. Sonnia I always follows the after care to her color to the T! Her smile while walking out the door.... Priceless

#Repost @crstl74_miabelleza with @get_repost . Oftentimes we think we need a big change to make life more exciting, but really we just need to make a few small tweaks.... The Pandemic brought so much uncertainty in my life to the point of doubting my self worth. I’ve been doubting myself and where my life is going. All the goals I’ve set for my present career and for my future retirement have changed. I once thought I had everything under control, but quickly learned that ain’t so. All in all, I felt the urge to hit the reset button on my life. I haven’t been taking care of myself fully over the past few months and I know it’s time to make a few changes to my life. The good in all this is, the fact that I have a strong bond with my family. That we hold each other up when we’re down. Our love gives me strength to overcome any obstacle. Getting away and clearing my mind was the best I could do in that moment of despair. The time for this trip was not ideal, but it was what my spirit needed. The small changes I made in my mind and heart, help me put my life in perspective. Even though these are small things, I found that they were missing from my daily routine and creating a bigger disconnect from myself than I thought. Simple things like posting hair pictures on Instagram. Taking webinars to update my skills. I know I belong in this industry, I know my passion shows in my work. I am content with working another 15 years, rather than 10. My happy place truly is behind the chair. And I am taking control of my destiny... Who knew a simple change of scenery would be all I needed to process my thoughts, heal my soul and make peace with whatever decisions I need to make. All I needed was a journey that would lead me back to MY TRUE MYSELF #covidsucks #depressionsucks #missmyjob #lovewhatido #resetyourmind #rechargeyoursoul #hairdressermagic #miabellezaonvacay #borntoshine #myzen #covidroadtrip #naturelover

, ’ ! We just want to express our gratitude to all of our loyal clients, who have patiently awaited our opening our doors to business once again! It’s been hard emotionally to endure these shutdowns from one day to the next.... We’ve worked so hard to create our brand and positive ranks amongst our industry. A family owned business established 20 years, with dreams almost shattered... these 2 Boss ladies not willing to give up! The uncertainty of not knowing if we could survive hasn’t been easy. But here we are once again a few days shy of celebrating our 10th anniversary here in Downtown Pomona. And we couldn’t be more happier than to be of service to you. This second shutdown has me feeling so many emotions. Although we justify the closure and with cases being so extensive in California, I can’t help but feel so depressed and fatigued.... COVID is real, spreading rapidly and some people are taking this not wearing mask to extremes... with theories, beliefs & supposed violation of freedom. It is so frustrating that the salon industry is most affected. I feel anguish for our community, like us other businesses are affected by these closures & the virus... and the struggle is real folks! More and more businesses are closing their doors for good. It deeply saddens me to see the local mom and pop shops closed. We literally leave our blood, sweat and tears at work. Like most family owned businesses, we invest a lot of time, money, physical and mental health. For the love of what I do, I’ve missed many family affairs. Long days away from home, missed quality time with loved ones and pets. Yet I have no regrets, because I’ve grown to love many of you which have become like family to us... in my 20 years of business I have seen many grow up literally before my eyes, I have customers that I’ve seen for their 1st day of kindergarten, college, marriage and birth of a child or two. We’ve grown up together, I know secrets & affairs I shouldn’t, sometimes way too much information. We really didn’t even fully open up after 1st shutdown, we were too scared and also had way too many rescheduled appointments to attend. It’s so stressful not knowing if we can financially and mentally survive this. All I know is that I refuse to close Mia Belleza’s doors permanently. We have worked so hard to just give up on our dreams, I still have many years to give of my creative services. I am most alive when I’m doing what I love the most, that I reject the idea of never opening salon or giving up on my career. I miss you guys so much! The @cabarbercosmo is not sticking up for this industry and so many salons are going to be forced to shut permanently! Instead of shutting us down, HIRE MORE PEOPLE to regulate us... Our salon was taking temperatures, working every other station, taking only one client at a time, wearing masks, sanitizing before, during and after, and doing everything we can to prevent the spread. What other open businesses are doing this?? As for wanting us to work outside, Last week the weather was well into the 100’s, so how are we supposed to work outside? Clients have to be under a drape, wearing a mask... We are not even supposed to offer the clients drinks! Our insurance will not cover us working outside if someone gets heat exhaustion. The government is not paying us unemployment (at least not everyone)! Salon owners are losing businesses that they have worked their whole lives for! #Repost @cabarbercosmo with @get_repost Effective July 13, 2020, Governor Gavin Newsom ordered that specific businesses on the county monitoring list must close immediately in order to reduce the spread of COVID-19. This applies to all hair salons, barber shops and personal care services (which includes nail salons, esthetic salons, and electrology offices) that are within the monitored counties (a list of impacted counties can be found here at: https://covid19.ca.gov/roa...dmap-counties/ - link in bio). In addition, section 7317 of the Business and Professions Code requires that all barbering, cosmetology and electology services be performed in a licensed establishment. The State is trying to help the beauty industry but it is not as easy as it seems. California State Board of Barber & Cosmetology has safety and sanitation regulations in place for a reason. We are only going to be allowed to do haircuts and preferably dry cuts.... We cannot wash hair, we cannot provide any chemical services or any service that requires you to enter an establishment. Our salon is primarily a 90% color service based salon. Unfortunately we will not benefit from this and the conditions of doing services outdoors under canopy are not ideal for our guests. https://files.covid19.ca.gov//guidance-outdoor-hair-salons

We’ve been asked if we can do pop up services, well we investigated and unfortunately no we can’t. It is probably unsanitary to cut hair or do other services on sidewalks, it would be hard for hair not to be blown away into adjacent businesses. Our licensing is very strict and we must follow protocol. We apologize but will have to comply with the State’s order. ... We cannot risk our cosmetology license or the Establishment’s license to be revoked or fined!!!
