MAKING IT WORK This was a huge challenge for me and against my better judgment to take this on, but in the end it worked out. This client had extension hair from before shutdown that was solid blonde. Her hair was previously hilighted then she died it pink. She wanted hair back in but wanted to use the blonde since it was fairly new. I never start a new head without fresh hair. The end result is never ideal. ORANGE EXTENSIONS If you have light extensions please educate yourself on the do’s and don’ts . Here are some things that can alter your extension color *chlorine- getting in the pool or even steam from a hot tub(even if your hair is out of the water!)... *sunscreen- be careful how you apply and if it’s getting on your ends same with lotions I’ve seen multiple things happen over the years but these are the top 2. Underneath what looks like her normal hair color was once bleached, died green/blue, then re- lightened , then colored back to natural. First we started with some multi- dimensional depth to start the process . This shows contrast and breaks up the look of a solid color. Next we went for it! We took the cut shorter to get it extra healthy and then we painted. In the end ,a root shadow was done with a toner because I wa...nted her natural red tones to still show and be seamless when it grew out. I loved the look every step of the way!
