FOR YOUR INFORMATION The LACCD Student Registration Call Center will reopen for the fall 2019 term starting Monday, July 29 until Friday, September 13, 2019, seven-weeks. Students that forgot their password and their responses to the security questions, or need assistance creating their password for the first time, can receive telephone support, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. by calling the toll free Call Center number, (844) MyLACCD or (844) 695-2223.... The toll free number will display on the SIS MyCollege.laccd.edu log-on page after the student’s first attempt to log on to the system fails. Again, the Center will open on Monday, July 29 to assist students with creating their password for the first time, resetting their password account so a new password can be created, and responding to general admissions, academic and financial aid questions. Did you know that an aquaponics garden is slowly taking root at ELAC? Yesterday the Roots of STEM Club and ELAC STEM faculty introduced 500 tilapia into our aquaponics system! Leading up to this moment, they had been very diligent in adding ammonium nitrate to the fish pond (for 60 days until the water was nitrogen balanced enough to accept fish) and planting 2,000 seeds and plants in the planting beds. The DREAM Act Scholarship is open to any student enrolled in a community college, private or public undergraduate college or university, graduate program, business school, or law school in the United States. All candidates who apply for this scholarship must be in good academic standing and possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. High school seniors are eligible to apply too!...
