Hello Beach and Mermaid Lovers!! Good News!!! I found a temporary spot at the Nipomo Swap Meet and set up shop in one of their units. Prices are reduced 30% and more. I'll be here through the Christmas Season. The Swap Meet is open Saturday and Sunday and offers train rides for the kids and much more! Saturdays are free, otherwise parking is $3.on Sunday. It's right off the 101, south of Pismo Beach. 273 Frontage Road, Nipomo, Calif. I'm in the first row A, in a turquoise unit. Hope to see you here!

Sorry for having to close early today. It's just too unbearably hot in there. It's expected to cool off tomorrow so hopefully we can stay open longer. Hope you're all staying cool!

Hi Beach & Mermaid Lovers, Hope you're all staying cool during this heat wave. As for me, well, I have good news and bad news to share. First the bad news - as Mermaids often say, "The sea is calling, and I must go"... Sadly, as the tides of life are pulling us in another direction, I regret to share that we'll be closing our doors soon. Sunday, July 16th, will be our last day . We won't be gone for good though, and are hoping to set up an online shop in the not too distant future - so stay posted... Now for the Good News! Many of our items are going on CLEARANCE SALE, some as much as 50% off regular price, beginning Saturday, July 8th, until closing day, Sunday, July 16th!! We hope to see you there! My son Chris Valdivia will be covering for me at the shop today. He just graduated Santa Ynez H.S. last month! I'm so very proud of him for all his hard work and dedication through the years. He's a National Honor Society student and received many awards including a Scholarship, and was even voted Class President three years in a row!! He did all that while performing in Vocal Ensemble, Track Meets, working weekends, AND helping me set up and cover the shop in his spare time! Please help me Congratulate him!!!
