God is Your Shield! The world isn’t always a perfect place, but you can ask God to help protect you and your family. As you go about your today, and as your today leads into tomorrow, and then into the week ahead, may you find your strength and help in the Lord! May your heart trust in Him, and may you find your joy in resting in his presence. Let your kids see you place your joy and trust in the Lord as well. . . It will be a blessing and a comfort for them to see, and, Lo...rd willing, an example they desire to follow! 2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. Psalm 1:2 7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him-Psalm 28:7 Father God, You are my helper and my shield. You insulate me from pain in the world. I take You on as my shield. Help me to be mindful of praying this on a daily basis, for I know that Your involvement in my life depends on my invitation through prayer. Come and be my shield, Father. Then help me risk in life without fear. Help me to banish evil for I know you are always with me! Use Your shield to cover those I love and protect them as You protect me. I speak to my soul, Soul, trust the Lord! He is your helper and your shield! Let me be an example for my family and friends, so that they also ask for Your protection and love in Jesus name. Amen!
