Menlo Bike Club

Hi All, Now that we're a month out, we wanted to get a headcount for the Davis Double which is on Saturday, May 21st. So far the plan is to head up Friday afternoon, get situated, ride Saturday, spend a second night in Davis (based on the fact that we'll be pretty dead) and then head back early Sunday morning to get back to the bay by mid-morning. We need to know how many people are planning on coming by Tuesday morning. House rentals are filling up fast. It seems like hous...ing with be about $50/person/night. If you want to stay Friday night but not Saturday night (or vice versa), you need to find someone who only wants to stay on the night you don't want your spot. This prevents those who are spending two nights from having to pay more for space they don't need. We're planning on looking into a masseuse to come to the house after the ride and give anyone who wants it a massage, depending on cost. Hope you all had a great weekend! I am absolutely excited to announce that Menlo Bike Club will be supporting the Canary Challenge bike ride benefiting the Canary Foundation. This Palo Alto based foundation is working on a early detection test for cancer. Let me know if you are doing this event and want help in getting ready.
