Would you like a estimate?" we then asked if he was insured, she said "Yes". So, we requested the name and license again, and then she never replied. This local social media "Talk" page has over 24,000 members and advertisements can help these unlicensed contractors contact their next victim. You should look for catch words like quality, licensed and insured. Ultimately, you should check references, get bids and check the Contractors State Licensed Board for their license status and classification. www.cslb.ca.gov When checking a license status of a contractor, you want to verify that it is "Current and Active" and confirm that the contractor providing you a bid is licensed to perform the work in his classification.
