Ukiah High School’s Middle College Applications Now Open Attend High School at Mendocino College - Earn a high school diploma, meet college acceptance requireme...nts, and earn college credits. Apply for Fall 2021 here online: https://docs.google.com//1FAIpQLSc8wv-Nc5lRTJGXz/viewform This program is available for any 9th and 10th-grade students in Mendocino and Lake Counties. Middle College Advantages: Smaller classroom size allows for close interaction with teachers Earn college credits while in high school Career pathways and professional certifications Personalized mentoring, academic, & social support Students accepted into the Middle College Program gain the best of two worlds, college and high school. Students attend daily UHS classes at the Mendocino College campus instead of the high school campus. Middle College allows the flexibility to take 3-11 units of college courses each semester. Our Middle College teachers and counselors also provide a wealth of assistance to guide students in their high school and college success. All college fees and textbook costs are paid for by the Middle College, so you save thousands of dollars as you complete many college courses while still in high school. A maximum of 30 students per grade-level are accepted, so you will experience all the benefits of a small, caring school environment during the school day and still be able to attend UHS social events or compete in UHS athletics if you want to.
