We want to keep everyone posted through this holiday weekend that we will be open our normal hours. Masks are mandatory due to Health Department Regulations, please help us keep our staff and community safe by wearing a mask to enter the market.
We have AMAZING NEWS!!! The LA County Health Department has lifted the restrictions and the much needed & essential PRE-PACKAGED VENDORS are ALLOWED to return to the Farmers Markets in LA County. These vendors include items such as fresh fish, bread, yogurt, soups, hummus & dips, broth, and various pantry items. We will not allow anyone into the market that is not wearing their mask. So, please be sure to wear your mask this weekend to your markets. Our safety standards c...ontinue as we: Limit Number of Customers in Market to Shop Practice safe social distance 6' Vendors & Staff Wear Gloves & Masks One Entry In & One Exit Out Have Hand Sanitizer & Hand Washing Stations Available See more

Here's our helpful market protocol guide which mixes our safety standards along with simple, action steps you can take while shopping your farmers market. http://nebula.wsimg.com/c69900b4d2c4cac7a9d81b40cc77dbc0
We have some important info on the market for this weekend. We want to make sure everyone is equipped with as much info as possible to make shopping at the market easier. A visual map is below to show some of the upgrades we are making. If you went last week you saw we had barricades and were monitoring the amount of customers entering. This week it is more stringent with one entry in and one different exit out. Thank you for bearing with us as we continue to provide our service to your community. Further we included a helpful shopping guide that includes our protocols in place and small steps you can take to help us keep our markets responsible & safe.
We want to share with our community all the ways our team has diligently put safety first across the market. We take this very seriously, and felt you should have access to our timelines & details. Thank you for your support and we look forward to continuing to serve you by bringing the farm and healthy foods to your community in a safe environment.
ATTN MARKET FAM! We are set to be OPEN this weekend, Sunday normal times. We are ever changing to the safety needs of our community, with precautions through the market.... Unfortunately we cannot have crafts or Prepared Foods, so this last weekend you did see a constricted market. This is because our markets are only allowed to operate with "Essential" products..meaning produce, and food not made on site. The market was stocked well, and everyone had a great day in the community. Please 'Follow' this market page so we can keep you updated on these ever changing times, we are fighting hard for our farmers, small businesses, and community to stay open, and with that here are a few ways you can help us with! - Wear gloves while shopping or have your farmer bag your items. This week many items will be pre-bagged. - Help maintain the social distancing rule. We saw so many wonderful customers doing this, so THANK YOU! If a line formed everyone was doing a great job distancing from one another, so let's keep that up! - We are HUGE Dog LOVERS, but they really affect us with the Health Department who do not allow any dogs in - ONLY service animals, this is something that really taxes our manager, and jepordies our standards. We love you guys and your furry friends but unless they are Certified Service Animals please keep them home. - Bring your own bags - Bring your hand sanitier, even though all our vendors are stocked, with the shortages it is really helpful if we all use our resources with everyone in mind. - - TIPS! - - WASH all your produce after the market. They'll be bagged and clean ready to go from your fridge. Heres a DIY veggie wash https://www.thekitchn.com/how-to-make-your-own-fruit-and-ve WASH your bags too, and leave shoes at the door. Change out of your clothes & wash 'em after going out in public.
