I got the chance to be creative with three phenomenal women. We organized a teachers appreciation lunch and it turns out. The teachers really appreciated us for doing it!

Cold weather = Ramen with whatever you have in the fridge. Today that means spinach, leftover pork and tofu. I topped mine with a little Sriracha and Rice seasoning

I got to help our local HSA by working on a lunch to appreciate the teachers of Hilltop Elementary. I got to team up with three fabulous women and cannot wait to work with them again.

Tater-tot-choes: n. tater tots covered with slow cooked BBQ pork shreds and coleslaw.

Good Morning Sunshine

This is the last event before my lil guy comes! Ironically it's another baby shower. Janine is Due January 30th and is craving tacos. She is planing a storybook nursery theme so why not theme her shower the same way! We decided to use the opportunity to build the baby's lbrary by sending out invitations that looked like library Cards. ... We researched books that tie in with all of the food as well. For instance, Janine was craving tacos and we found a children's book to go with it we also tied in the drinks, desserts and favors. Take a look at the pictures to see how all it all turns out.....

So excited! I just got my new book from Amazon! Simple Green Smoothies is an awesome way to get nourishment and feel great. My friend, Jadah, co-wrote this cook book. She is amazing and if you are even thinking of trying smoothies, she makes a great guru!

N'awlins BBQ shrimp on cauliflower purée

Our families threw a shower fro my sister, Janine, who is expecting January 30th. We are so excited about our new little family member we had to toast her with a lovely tea party! The Party was hosted by the new Grannys, Rhonda and Gigi, and they chose a darling Pink tea party for the new little lady. We had a fantastic spread of Salad toppings, sandwiches, and Treats! I personally love when our family gets together and helps each other out because the end result is fun an...d pretty. I personally want to thank Rhonda Salalac, Gigi Hurty, Christine Hurty, Anne Hurty, Ashley Carlin, Blair Carlin, Chris Carlin, Brenda Carlin for all of their help and hard work. I especially want to thank Janine Hurty for making me an auntie.
