Today, Meher Mount lost a very dear friend and a long-time supporter and volunteer, Byron Pinckert. He and Nancy Pinckert have been working, creating, and caring for Meher Mount since their first visit in March 2007. Their creative vision helped shape the way the Master Plan unfolded, and Byron shared ideas that became guidelines for the vision of Meher Mount. The service didn't stop there. Byron and Nancy continued to work to bring major projects to fruition - the first reco...rded boundary survey, the Workshop, the Topa Topa Patio, the stone signs, and the Darshan Courtyard (in progress). In our last conversation 10 days ago, we discussed doing an update of the Mater Plan and recording that session for posterity. Byron was visibly moved because he felt honored to be of service - offering service being a driving force for him. A true gentleman, friend, and scholar. He will be missed. See more
