An important read as we prepare to ‘return to the studio’. What that return looks like, remains to be seen. Gensler Research Institute recently asked more than 2,300 U.S. office workers if they wanted to work from home on a full-time basis. Only 12 percent said yes. Most of those who said no cited one reason: the lack of regular face-to-face interactions with colleagues. Put simply, they miss being around other people.

From our founder Meghna Andley #BlackLivesMatter This is intended specifically for my well... intentioned, compassionate, empathetic and well meaning Family & Friends in India and across the globe as I wake up to an outpouring of support across Facebook for the protests across America and I am truly so moved. I do however, feel the need to jump in and clarify something. The movement we are all supporting is *Black Lives Matter* and it specifically is focused on stopping the systemic and generational genocide of our Black Brothers and Sisters here in America. Yes, we do understand that All Lives do matter (it’s a given) but that’s not what we are talking about here; not at this particular moment in history. Saying that in the same breath as *Black Lives Matter* dilutes the sentiment that needs to be hammered in - The death and massacre of Black people in America is disproportionate and it has to stop. If you do so desire, you can read up more about the movement here: https://blacklivesmatter.com/what-we-believe/ While, as an American; as a woman, as a Person of Color, as the mother of a Brown skinned teenage boy, I am heartened by the solidarity shown by the global community in supporting the movement, I am compelled to interject and say that tag lines like ‘All Lives Matter’ (which are used to gaslight and as dog whistles by the extreme right wing) muddy the conversation and attempt to take away from the specific conversation that has taken years to have even close to the traction that we need desperately in America today. I implore you to investigate more and politely suggest that if you do choose to support the movement, please support it as it stands, as it is intended, for it to be effectual. We appreciate it and are thankful for your support
