Her students have been using different art mediums to create artwork inspired by famous artists. They have been creating artworks with watercolor, oil pastels, and tempera paint. Trang’s goal is to help her students develop an appreciation, love, and passion for the arts!

Juliette Low first grade teacher Melissa Brakefield's students absolutely loved creating "Dandelions" on canvas using acrylic paint. Another enriching experience provided by a MEEF!

Juliette Low first grade teacher Sherrie Todorovic thanks MEEF "for giving such an amazing experience to our grade level. The Van Gogh Model Magic Art actually turned out much better than I had anticipated. Our grade level is super excited about doing this activity again in the future."
Baden-Powell TK and primary SH students learned about the life cycle of butterflies thanks to a grant awarded to SDC teacher Liz Hardy.
Jennifer Atchue shared photos from "our beginning and advanced band working on new music we received from the MEEF grant! We had a successful concert on May 8 and our advanced band performed at the MEEF festival on May 9. We are so grateful for the support and opportunities to learn music!"

Kindergarten students at Marshall School have been exposed to STEM activities provided by a MEEF awarded to their teacher Bianca Navarro. Her students have been delighted to use the activities and have been creating awesome designs. These hands on activities have promoted and enhanced student development that will help shape these critical thinkers, mathematicians, and engineers of tomorrow!
