Medusa Mosaics 31.05.2021

Medusa Mosaics is proud to announce the acceptance of 'Message to a Broken Planet' by the California State Fair, Fine Arts Competition2015. Not just about guinea pigs, turnip contests, hypnotists, rides, and fried Coke, the State Fair's Fine Arts Exhibit is one of California's "largest and most prestigious juried art shows". Many Calif. artists compete for acceptance into the show, which is then headlined on their resumes, as the exhibit is viewed by more than 700,000 visitors each year. Out of over 600 submissions, 180 pieces are chosen by a jury of accomplished artists and museum curators. We are very proud of this accomplishment and hope you will stop by the exhibit halls when the demo derby is over to see the art, sculpture, needle-craft, youth art, and all the rest.http://www.castatefair.org/fineart/

Medusa Mosaics 01.05.2021

Medusa Mosaics is proud to announce its acceptance into three nationally/internationally-juried art exhibits: In Auburn, Medusa Mosaics has two mosaics in an outstanding, superior display of West coast talent, "Aqua Vista" - at the beautiful General Gomez Gallery (formerly Placer Arts) on Lincoln Way, 7 days/week until the end of April. At Blue Line Arts gallery in Roseville, Medusa Mosaics won a spot in the well-known gallery's annual benefit, "Lottery for the Arts", now ...through Friday April 10, with prohibitively (sorry) expensive lottery and auctions Wednesday & Thursday eves, April 8-9; and the jury for the Chico Arts Center's Ninth Annual Worldwide "Contemporary Woman" showcase elected a Medusa Mosaic (and rejected three) to its popular, competitive annual exhibit, May 1 - May 22. Art lovers: Yes! These three popular Northern California venues are aesthetically and geographically accessible. Eye candy! See more
