During times of distress and worry, we can be tempted to put our meditation practice aside, waiting for things to settle down. But there is no better time to "get our practice on" than when we are in need of peace. We can consciously turn our attention away from worry and toward our peaceful center which is undisturbed by the turbulence of changing conditions. This is our anchor during the storms of life. The teachings say, raise the self by the Self. Step into higher consciousness now and let Supreme Consciousness shine a light into our field of awareness.
