It’s the holiday season! (Did anyone else read that to the beat of the song? ) This time of year is full of big meals and tons of sweets. It is so easy to get off track, diet wise. But here’s a tip! Next time you sit down to a big meal, drink a big glass of water first. Quench that thirst, fill that belly a bit, and it’s never a bad idea to hydrate. Health Fun Fact of the day: Vitamin D helps your body absorb calcium, which is used to build and maintain strong bones. It is very important in children and older adults. Your body produces vitamin D when it is exposed to sunlight.
