As technology continues to advance and makes our lives easier, it’s imperative that people with disabilities benefit and are included in all the successes, Frank Sperling, vice chairman of the Oakland Mayor’s Commission on Persons with Disabilities, said in a statement."

The City of Oakland would like your feedback on the emergency power shutdown last week. This brief survey asks residents to share 1) specific problems or challenges experienced during the power shutdown, and 2) what was effective and helpful. This survey will take about five minutes to complete. NO identifying information will be shared from this survey or comments. Please take a moment to share your experiences regardless if you had your power shutdown or not. Your opinions matter on this very important issue.
