We are looking for a paralegal to join our litigation team.

We were successful this week on a temporary restraining order that allowed our client to recover more than $200,000.00 in construction equipment from a general contractor that had taken control of the equipment upon contract termination. Our client was a subcontractor on a public works project and was terminated on less than 48 hours notice. During termination, the GC surrounded our client's personnel and equipment and refused to allow the equipment to leave the site, claiming he had a contractual right to keep the equipment. The court did not agree and ordered all equipment returned.

Congratulations to shareholder Robert Lynch on a defense verdict today in San Diego County Superior Court. The case involved Plaintiff's allegations that she had been wrongfully evicted from a local hotel and included claims that she should have been considered a long term tenant instead of a transient guest and that she was entitled to statutorily required penalties.

Tim McMahon is attending the 2018 Annual CLM Conference in Houston and looks forward to saying hello in person to the colleagues, clients and vendors that we work with on a daily basis.

Bob Lynch celebrated his 20 years of practice by attending the Georgetown University Law Center's reunion for the class of 1997.
