This exciting event is hosted by McGeorge's Capital Center for Public Law & Policy in collaboration with the Municipal Law Institute of the League of Cal...ifornia Cities, the County Counsels’ Association, and the Public Law Section of the State Bar, with program and planning assistance from McGeorge water programs. Panelists will explore the drought, water and growth, alternative supplies (recycled water, stormwater, solar desalination), and conservation water rates under Proposition 218, among other topics. Sacramento Bee senior writer Dale Kasler will provide the luncheon keynote, sharing stories and lessons learned while reporting on California’s challenging water issues.
